Pat wept outside her home the day he was MURDERED by the system. She and her husband had been at the AUDOBON BALLROOM in Harlem, USA in the 1960’s on the day of the attack and witnessed the capitalist racist violence.

Clarke pulls together WOMEN from the time period , who many sexist leaders refused to honor. Pat Robinson, Shirley DuBois and others give perspective and WIDE VIEWS. In the 1960’s decades ago their voices often were absent and much needed. Read Clark’s contributors and start with the gender that was AVOIDED, made fun of and in these 21st century years give MUCH to be held up to the light!
